The Haven Nursery
The Haven nursery is built on the foundation of Christ's love. As we look
into the eyes of each child,
we are reminded that God loves every child
and they all belong to Him. This service is provided for
all scheduled worship services (unless noted)
and also during Wednesday evening events.
Our nursery is staffed with screened and trained volunteers who love children. If you're interested in volunteering for this

Check-In Process
Nursery check in starts approximately twenty minutes prior to each service. We welcome and check in children one at a time. Please stand outside the nursery until it is your turn to enter.
Once at the check in counter, a trained adult nursery volunteer will ask you to register your child on the sign in sheet.
The sign in sheet includes your name, your child's name, allows you to note special needs or allergies your child may have and a pager number.
For visiting families a volunteer will assist you with a nametag for your child and help direct you through the check in process.
Registered children have a permanent nametag hanging at the entry way. Please make sure the diaper bag is tagged with your child's name.
To help protect little fingers and keep the floors clean, our nursery is a "shoe free zone".
Please place your child's shoes on the shelf provided in the entry of the nursery.
You will be given a pager that has an identifying number on it. The pager will vibrate, so please hold or wear it at all times.
After the check-in process is complete, we hope you enjoy the service. Rest assured your little one is in good hands.
Pager System
Pagers are provided to those using the Haven nursery. The parent who accepts the vibrating pager is to wear it at all times when away from the child. If there is an emergency or any problem involving the child, the pager will vibrate and the parent will need to come to the room and address their child and/or the problem.
The pager’s radius only includes the church building facilities. Therefore, the parent with the pager should remain on the premises while his/her child is in the Nursery.
When A Parent May Be Paged
Although quite rare, you may be paged to attend to your child if:
-The child needs to use the bathroom or requires a diaper change.
-The child is inconsolable.
-The child is sick.
-The child is misbehaving.
When You Pick Up Your Child
Children are picked up from the nursery one at a time. Please wait your turn outside the nursery door. Present your pager upon return to the nursery. A child will not be released to a parent without the matching pager. You will also be prompted to sign
your child out of the nursery at that time. Make sure that all of your child’s personal items have been returned to you before you leave.
Our Well-Child Policy
For the sake of the other kids, we will not accept sick children. If you're in doubt about your child's health, please be considerate of the
other people using the nursery and keep your child at home or make other care arrangements.
We cannot take children who have:
-anything other than a clear runny nose.
-have had a fever within the last 24 hours.
-have a cough, diarrhea or vomiting.
-discharge in or around the eyes.
-questionable rash.
As an extra precaution, our toys are disinfected and cleaned on a weekly basis.
