Our Youth Ministries

Haven Church has many programs and ministries that are focused

on growing our children in Christ. These programs exist for newborns

through our high school kids.

The Wednesday night activities that are listed below are from

6:30pm – 8:00 pm, and are scheduled from September through April.

Event calendars are available in the Haven Office or online.

Our prayer is that your child grows in the grace and knowledge of

Jesus Christ as they participate in these groups. We also pray

that they are enabled to then share the good news of Jesus to

others that do not know Him.

Nursery

Care for infants through age four care is provided during Sunday

services, Wednesday night activities, and other special church

events. Nursery attendees are trained, have gone through criminal

background checks, and desire to provide a loving and nurturing

environment for your little ones. You, as a parent or guardian,

will receive a pager when your child is signed into the nursery.

You will be paged if your child needs any care, including diaper

changes and excessive crying. Our desire is to provide a loving

Children in Worship

Children in Worship is a special worship service for 3-year olds

through 2nd graders. Children participate in the main worship

service for a few minutes, then are excused to the Children In

Worship service. Children may be picked up from their age-specific

rooms after the main service in the Worship Center is done.

Rhino Club

The Rhino Club is Haven’s Wednesday night program for boys

and girls, 4-years old through 2nd grade. They meet in the

Compass Room for Christ-centered song & dance, feast (snack),

Bible stories, prayer and station activities (games, crafts, etc).

Each child must be signed in and signed out each time they

attend this program. Parents are asked to complete and child

information form when their child participates.

Crash

CRASH is Haven’s Wednesday night program for boys and girls,

3rd through 6th grade. This group meets every other Wednesday

night (alternating with GEMS and Cadets) in the Fellowship Room

for Christ-centered study, song and dance, prayer,

feast (snack), and fellowship. A council-approved

curriculum is used for this group. They meet in the

Fellowship Room for church school on alternating weeks with GEMS/Cadets.

Cadets

The Cadets Program is for boys in 3rd through 6th grades. Cadets

is a national organization through the Calvinist Cadet Corps. They

meet alternating Wednesdays (with CRASH) in the Education Building,

then split up into age/grade groups. Activities include Christ-centered

Gems

The Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior (GEMS) program is for

girls in 3rd through 6th grade. GEMS is a Christian Reformed

Church-affiliated ministry. GEMS Girls' Clubs is a relationship-building

club program created especially for girls. They meet alternating

Wednesdays (with CRASH) in the Fellowship Room, then split up

into age/grade groups.

LIME

The "LIME" Middle School Ministry program is for boys and girls in 7th

and 8th grades. They meet in the Education Building FLAME Room.

Activities include church school curriculum lessons, small groups,

worship, prayer, service projects and special outings. Learn more »

MOSAIC

The "MOSAIC" High School Ministry program is for boys and girls in

9th through 12th grades. They meet in the Conference Room at

City On A Hill. They follow a lesson/small group format, also

allowing time for service projects and special outings.
