Adult Ministry
Wednesday Night Live
WNL
Come out on select Wednesday evenings this fall for times of great food, fellowship, worship and learning.
At 5:30pm we begin serving a delicious meal that the whole family can enjoy.
At 6:20pm, we play an intergenerational game before dismissing children in grades 1-5 to Haven Kids at 6:30pm. Our Child Care Center is staffed for children in Kindergarten and younger. Middle School youth also begin their gathering in the Dock at 6:30pm.
After clearing the tables, we enjoy worshiping together before introducing a Haven member, or someone connected to Haven's ministries, to share their story of God at work in their life. It could be a whole life story or just one incident of God's sustaining or transforming power.
We wrap up the evening with dessert and conversation around the tables. At 7:55pm Haven Kids are released from their programs and join their parents to head for home.
Our Wednesday Night Live dates and speakers for this season are ...
September 17 - Pastor John Ornee
October 1 - Carole Ornee
October 15 - Pastor Lisa Urivez-Karp, Leader of the Box Truck Ministry "A Peace of Community"
November 5 - Mike & Betsi Roelofs
November 19 - TBD
STEP Groups
Share, Think, Eat, Pray
STEP Groups meet on the third Sunday of each month to Share about life, Think about scripture and its application for everyday life with a video-based study, Eat a meal together, and Pray with and for one another. Each group is made up of adults from every age group to promote intergenerational conversations and relationships.

Again this year, we are providing a group for families with young children that will meet at church following worship. Supervision and activities for children will be provided after the meal so that parents can engage in the study and prayer.

“One At A Time” led by Kyle Idleman on RightNow Media is our video-based study for this year. We wonder how to make a difference in our world. Reading through the Gospels shows us that Jesus made a big difference by connecting with people one person at a time. In this STEP season we will learn together how to see and interact with people as Jesus did.
